Message of the Day:- 1 Timothy 6:6-10 - "6But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. Link - Cult Watch.
Does God get so angry with His children that He ignores them?
Does God get angry for so long/hard that He ignores His children?
What if the person in question has repented?
A friend of mine told me that God told her mother that He is angry with her and wants my friend to say sorry first. This was told to the mother when the mother was praying to God about her daughter's career issues.
My friend analysed the events prior to that and remembered that she was disrespectful and took God for granted in an instance, cos her life was at the time besieged by a slew of problems and she was praying intently about a more pressing issue that she believed was the root to most of her problems, so when her mother told her that God says He will give you a good job, she responded in a haste "yeah so what?! ok lor!" meaning, that's the least of her concerns and she'd have expected that anyway, what bothered her was the bigger issue she prayed about.
She had a huge shock when she learnt a few weeks later that God was actually angry about that matter.
She says she has repented since and doesn't know if God has forgiven her.
Now i won't know myself if God is angry with me. Any sure sign?

Childofchrist,
Sometimes God might be 'displeased' by the action of his children, but not 'angry' with them, because we are the apple of his eye throught Christ Jesus.
And because the word also said "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Rom. 8:1. God only chastise us in love, it is not his nature to condemn us when we done wrong.
When the peoples of the world done somethings wrong, they may get by with it, but you let a Christian do the same wrong, he can't get by with it, for the Holy Spirit will convict them in their heart, because God love you, and when you see that happen in your heart (conviction), it a sure sign that show that you are one of his.
Love is correction, when a christian see that their world come crumbling down when they done somethings wrong, that does not mean that God hate you, it means God is purging you, until you repent and turn back to him again.
Therefore it behove us to take inventory of our lifes, and when we made it right with God, you will see that all is well, for we have a havenly Father that love us and correct us, "For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receivth." Heb. 12: 5-8.
God bless.
