Seems so quiet lately thought I'll just share 2 that I know of personally.
There was this colleague of mine who was diagnosed with cancer. Local doctors gave him approx. six months before he hand over his NRIC back to the govt. On the day he was suppose to report to TTS hospital, something prompted him to seek help in the chinese free clinic along Chin Swee Road. He was attended by an old man with long white beard ( according to his account ). At the end of his session, he was given a chinese herbs with some other stuff. He gave a token sum of $1.0. Meanwhile, back at work, most of us were sad and was standing by to collect "white gold money" for him. Guess what, he recovered within a month and doctor couldn't find the cancer again.
The other chap was a friend that encountered the same problem. This time, the doctor gave him less than 3 months. A friend of his was just bragging about some bomoh in Indonesia that can help him. ( Actually, this friend did not know anyone and was only a hearsay) So my cancer stricken friend went to Indonesia and started seeking out this "bomoh". Somehow, he was led into a jungle and met with a bomoh. Withing two weeks, he came back fully cured.
Both are still alive and well. There are many stories of miracle healing but I cannot verify them cause I do not know them personally. So, either our doctors are prone to giving wrong analysis or what, I don't know. Problem is, I have not come across a healing on a Christian. Both these chaps are non-christians.[/LIST]
Now for the strange part. Whenever my friends recommend ppl with this problem to the two avenues of treatment. It seems nobody can find them or in some cases, didn't bother to go at all. These ppl died. Therefore, like what is in the Lord's prayer, "Thy will be done".
Ya seems quiet…its like this sometimes...you seem out of sync today.
Anyway the Lord Jesus did many remarkable miracles & healings when He walked the earth. Surely they would be sufficient proofs…but wanna know more about the Kingdom today, read this guy’s amazing teachings at www.freshfire.ca where he (Todd Bentley) shares about amazing supernatural stories in his ministry. As if it is too hard to believe God still moves on the earth today, he walks in a realm of prophetic encounters, healings & miracles everyday. Click on weekly teachings (not the link Free Weekly Teachings) from his homepage & you get to find a selection of his teachings filled with awesome testimonies of the supernatural. I find them edifying especially his encounters with the elders in heaven & his revival stories. God is doing mighty exploits through his ministry & his associates.
You may want to try the teaching A Face to Face Encounter for starters. The Glory of the Lord (associate Charlie Robinson) is also a good one. I have been reading their teachings for years. Enjoy…
Thanks for the tips. I'll look at it for sure. Just that I'm one of those that like things closer to home. Miracles do happen daily and is everywhere. Actually, I'm only wondering if all are God's will or our will??
Normally I wouldn't write / comment but have to tell you that the "freshfire" thing is quite scary to me. Admit I didn't read all of it but not very encouraging.
Borrow a phrase from happygal, "if the person is not concern, he wouldn't bother to nag".
I am okay with nags, ridicule & opposition, that’s kind of normal for my walk with God.
At this point of time, we all still have various deceptions in our hearts. Until the veils are removed we simply won’t see the glory of the Lord. Its saddening isn’t it; we won’t see Him again until we acknowledge blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
No lah, brother Loh, I'm not looking for witness. There are tons of these articles everywhere. Point is that others outside Christiandom also have miracles happening too.
BTW, bro ILife, felt bad about what I post about the "freshfire" and Choo Thomas thingy. What I've wrote is not so right. Not fair to comment when I've not read the whole thing. Forgot my own concept of being open-minded. Owe you one.
