Is Our Present Days Church Just Have No Feelings??

Very often, we read about church getting bigger, millions being collected to built mega structure to cater for the increasing numbers of members. Same applies to temples too. Large quantity of cash and gold collected over a relic ( turn out to be fake anyway ) to build a structure to house it.

Where are all these leading to ?? I personally have found that although these mega church are all well manage by professional with nice programs, mission outreach and other noteworthy acts, they sadly lack "Love". They became like the building, hard concrete and cold steel only. No warmth, not a place to seek peace & refuge, and not even sparrows can take shelter.

A little chapel I know of in the vicinity of Changi Prison where many has pass through, is still standing to this day which have inspired many to return and healed many broken souls.

Mega churches members are large therefore they have leaders and zone supervisor to help their members. There are many who prefer to attend small chapel, however some prefer to attend mega churches..individual...

Guess you right, "happygal". Never been to one of those mega church. Attended quite a few medium range.

They must be doing some good for God, hope it's not forgot. Personally, I like those small "thingy" church. Had nice experience and very spiritual. Pass the hat around so that church roof can be mend stuff.

This is where the smaller church especially those with 'cell-groups' triumph over the larger or more traditional churches. I have must respect for this sort of churches. I for one prefers Traditional liturgies where I can think and meditate. I hate those loud music types. This is one of the reason why I do not fancy the Masses in Singapore - its too detached (to me).

It is called globalization.

Kampung days are sure better but human technology has certainly changed many things.

Church by itself is a building. People inside churches or temples are called people. And people are sinners afterall. The world is growing colder on love and the best place to seek it is thru Jesus, family, and friends.

Churches itself houses sinners and worse of all, Jesus who asked them to preach on love did not quite understand it but preached tradition to its people. But don't worry much, God will see it through love gets back to churches where their traditions will be count no longer.
