Message of the Day:- 1 Timothy 6:6-10 - "6But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. Link - Cult Watch.
Re: Why is it that Catholics or Catholicism got condemn from the rest?
To "condemn" is a very strong word.
We don't condemn Roman Catholics, but warn them of the false teachings of the Roman church.
Even God warns Roman Catholics to come out of the Roman Catholic system.
"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."
Re: Why is it that Catholics or Catholicism got condemn from the rest?
Can Catholics please explain why must we pray to St Jude (for the hopeless) and not to God? Bible says very clearly to worship and pray to God and no one else.
Exodus 20:3-4 (NIV)
The Ten Commandments
3 "You shall have no other gods before [a] me.
4 "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand {generations} of those who love me and keep my commandments.
Why are we praying to humans who are dead? Aren't we no different from taoism who worshipped or pray to people who are dead like Guang Gong?
Are we supposed to pray to St something for marriage, St something for health St for pregnancy, St something for studies? If yes, then we are flouting the first commandment.

Why is it that Catholics or Catholicism got condemn from the rest?
The biggest problem about many Christian having a negative though about Catholicism should be the infalliable Pope...Pope is the head of the church, Vicar of Jesus in Catholic term. However i believe most Christian concern is that Pope is not the recar-nation of Jesus, so how would a normal human be infalliable. God's teaching is infalliable, yup..but how can human be infalliable, and so to say all Pastor's teaching is infalliable becoz that is God's word.

just some clarification here.... The Pope is NOT the reincarnation of Jesus. It was never ever stated in any Catholic doctrines. The Pope is infallible when it comes to spiritual guidance and matters related to the doctrines of faith. He is NOT infallible as a human.
As Catholics, we have tried to explain the Pope's 'infallibility'. However, minds have been shut and continue to stick to this 'infallibility' argument.
Simple common sense will dictate that no one is infallible as a human.
No, not even the Pope.

No comprende here. On what basis is the pope infallible when it comes to spiritual guidance and matters of faith? Is such an idea taught in the Scriptures? Where? By who?
